Tuscany We acquired some wheels and have just spent the most amazing week and a half in Tuscany. I have wanted to come and spend some time here since my first visit to Italy. We definately lucked out and found the perfect AirBNB... We made our way to the town of Sillicagnana, a very small medieval town in the Tuscan hills. We also managed to christen the rental car with a nice sideswipe of the town wall. Thankfully all of the stress of our travel day was washed away the moment we walked into our home for the next week and a half. Hi everyone, Sorry, we have been really bad at keeping up with this blogging jazz. I spent the better part of a child free afternoon Blogging all about our time in Tuscany, saving the post every few minutes, only to return and find my entire entry gone before I could post it. Needless to say, blogging has been my very least favorite thing to do since. We will get updates posted on our Italy destinations soon. In the mean time, we are currently in Dubrovnik, Croatia. We arrived yesterday morning on a flight from Rome. It was our smoothest travel day yet and the city is absolutely stunning (old and new). More to come soon, we promise! In the mean time I will leave you with Duck Face...

****Luke blogging*** Hello again.  We have travelled over the Atlantic and made it to Italy.  We took a night flight from Toronto and with a quick stop in Lisbon we made it to Venice none the worse for wear.  If anyone reading this is planning to fly with kids I have one word for you.  Benadryl!!  We don't condone regularly drugging your kids but for their sake and your sanity, a little help getting them asleep for an eight hour flight helps.  Luckily we had some extra seats so the boys could lie down and sleep somewhat comfortably.  None the less flying with 16 month olds is a test in patience and resolve, and should not be taken lightly.  TAP turned out to be an excellent airline for kids and helped out as best they could.
